Dr Eithne Coyne the second half of the wonderful pair of dentists behind Peregrine Dental, Rathfarnham, Dublin's newest clinic.
"Nearly everyone is nervous visiting the dentist including us. Trying to be a good patient, breathing, and staying calm has always helped me. Luckily I have always had a nice, friendly and relaxed dentist.
My loves outside of dentistry... I love making things, baking, and above all taking care of the ones I love. I think this led me to dentistry. I am always striving to be the same dentist for my patients.

I qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2007 with an honours degree. I was then very privileged to be given the role as a Junior House Officer in the Dublin Dental Hospital where I gained extra training in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Paediatrics, Special Needs, Restorative Dentistry and Periodontics.
Having worked in private practice for the next 14 years before deciding to set up my own practice, it is now a very exciting move to be setting up practice here in Rathfarnham with my dear friend and colleague Dr Anne Wall . Anne has been my friend since my first hour in Dental School. She is a fabulous dentist and human being. I am so excited to be embarking on this great adventure with her and to share in our common values in our daily work.

The idea behind this practice stems from a love of practicing family dentistry. 
As mums we know the importance of a comfortable and welcoming space. Together we have designed our environment with this in mind.
At Peregrine Dental we both offer the full suite of dental treatments for the whole family. A strong emphasis is placed on the maintenance of dental health. If we are lucky enough to have you as a patient we will help you achieve dental health and spend the rest of our careers maintaining it.

As a team we are kind, friendly, enthusiastic but above all down to earth and reassuring. We know how it feels to have cavities, dental pain, root canal treatments and crowns(in my case). This empathy ensures we will always understand how you feel and hold your hand throughout the journey.
